Democratizing access for startups and investors
The problem of access is twofold:

A large percentage of investment opportunities go to a few popular angel investors and investor networks. This means that several willing investors are unable to enter the ecosystem simply because their dealflow is sparse, low-quality or both.

The corollary to this is that the popular investors and networks that startups clamor around have little to no time to vet all the pitches coming their way, which leaves a lot of high-potential startups unfunded or even unnoticed.

We’re building a new funding paradigm; one that involves mapping deserving startups to appropriate investors while removing the popularity skew. There is tremendous untapped potential on both sides of the (cap) table, and we intend to leverage that potential using cutting-edge data science.

INFORMATION PARITY
Access to high-quality, actionable information is crucial - which investors are looking to fund, and which startups are looking for funding. Our goal is for as many people as possible to have this information.
BIAS ELIMINATION
There are biases when investors look for startups to fund, and when startups pick investors to fund them. We use AI to mitigate these biases as much as possible, to identify and pick out diamonds in the rough.
SCIENTIFIC MATCHING
We use our platform to look beyond obvious signals, to find hidden patterns to identify growth potential. We're attempting to make early-stage investment as much of a science as possible.
SUBJECT EXPERTISE
Data science is only part of the puzzle. We also have a team of experts to make sense of the insights and make them actionable. When our platform recommends startups, our analysts test it exhaustively.
